Elliot Grandin

Elliot Grandin ( born October 17, 1987 in Caen ) is a French football player of Congolese descent.

Career

Elliot Grandin launched in 2004 his career as a professional footballer in his hometown at SM Caen. After three and a half years where he was able to play in the first team and with the breakthrough in the premier league in the 2007/ 08 season, the finest of French club Olympique Marseille signed him in January 2008. However, where he was rarely used and was in January 2009 on loan for five months for the Liga rivals Grenoble Foot. After eight scoreless games, he returned to his hometown club of which he was finally released in September 2009. In 2010 he played briefly for CSKA Sofia.

12 August 2010 Grandin joined the Premier League team FC Blackpool, where he signed a contract until the end of June 2012. In addition, he has agreed with the club on a contract option of a further year.

On January 29, 2012, he was loaned until the season end at OGC Nice.

On August 2, 2013, he moved free transfer to the Premier League newly promoted Crystal Palace.
