Jörg Bach

Jörg Bach ( born November 20, 1965 in Koblenz ) is a former German football player and current coach. Bach played for SG Wattenscheid 09, Hamburger SV and Fortuna Dusseldorf total of 202 times in the Bundesliga.

Career as a player

In his youth Bach played in Metternich, for Eisbachtaler sports fans, in Hamm (Sieg), for Wirges and BSV Weissenthurm. At 19, he transferred in 1985 to SG Wattenscheid 09 to the 2nd Bundesliga. 1990 rose Wattenscheider to the Bundesliga, Bach had contributed with 36 missions and 5 goals a significant contribution. His first league game, he completed on October 27, 1990 against 1 FC Kaiserslautern. After four years of Bundesliga Wattenscheid he moved in 1994 for a transfer fee of the equivalent of € 600,000 to the league rivals Hamburger SV. But after one season, he moved on to Fortuna Dusseldorf, where he played two years in the Bundesliga and two years in the second league. At the end of his career he was still a season for Eintracht Trier in the third-tier Regionalliga West / Southwest at the ball before it has handicapped sport in 2000.

Overall, Bach put it in 202 Bundesliga matches (13 goals) and 88 appearances in the second league (7 goals). In the DFB-Pokal, he was a total of 15 appearances for, scoring a hit. His greatest success was about the semi-finals in 1996.

Career as a coach

After the end of his active career in 2000 Bach began as coach of TuS Montabaur in sechstklassigen Rhine Country League. In 2002 he moved to league rivals TSV Emmelshausen, where he rose to the District League from 2004 Rhineland, however, managed the 2007 revival before he moved to the Rhine country division SG Zell-Bullay/Alf 2008. In 2011, he left the SG. Since the summer of 2012 stream is trainer of the circle division SV Binningen.
