Jorge Llopart

Jorge Llopart ( Jorge Ribas Llopart, catalan Jordi Ribas Llopart; born May 5, 1952 in El Prat de Llobregat, Catalonia ) is a former Spanish mountaineers, who had specialized in the 50 -km distance.

Was Llopart 1978 in Prague in his first major international championships European champion in the 50 km. The following year he presented on August 26 in Reus with 3:44:33 h his personal best. In 1980 he was at the Olympic Games in Moscow in second behind Hartwig Gauder from the GDR.
