Andrey Perlov

Andrei Borisovich Perlov (Russian: Андрей Борисович Перлов, English transcription Andrey Perlov, . Born December 12, 1961 in Novosibirsk ) is a former Russian track and field athlete and Olympic champion who competed for the Soviet Union until 1991 and 1992 for the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Andrei Perlow was a decade of the best -goers in the world. Because of the high power density in the Soviet Union, however, he took part in only a few international championships.

His first major title won Perlow at the European Championships in 1990 in Split. Add 3:54:36 hours, he won the 50 km walking well ahead of the two DDR - goers Bernd Gummelt and Hartwig Gauder.
