Tommy Green (athlete)

Tommy Green (actually Thomas William Green, born March 30, 1894 in Fareham, Hampshire, † March 29, 1975 in Eastleigh, Hampshire ) was a British skiers and Olympic champion.

At the 1932 Olympic Games in Los Angeles for the first time the competition was held in the 50 km walk. Green, who in 1930 became at this distance, British champion, won this competition in 4:50:10 h before the European champion of 1934 Janis Dalin's from Latvia, the 1934 European champion, and three times Olympic champion of 1920 and 1924 Ugo Frigerio, the in 1920 and 1924 become shorter distances Olympic champion.
