Jos Heyligen

Jozef " Jos " Heyligen (* June 30, 1947 in Hamburg ) is a former Belgian footballer and football coach.

Playing career

Holy began his career at Royal Antwerp FC. In 1975 he moved to SV Thor Genk K Waterschei, which years later together with the KFC Winterslag was for KRC Genk. After four years at Genk, he moved in 1979 to FC Beringen. After just one year, we went back to Genk time for KFC Winterslag, where he was one year's activity. He could not win a title in all its active time.

Coaching career

In 1996 Heyligen the KVC Westerlo. After three years as manager of Westerlo he trained for a year to SK Lommel.

International players career

Holy participated in the European Football Championship in 1972 partly in the home country and was there with the team of third parties. At the World Championship in Italy in 1980, he climbed with the national team the ladder of success higher and became vice European champion.
