Ham is a Belgian municipality located in the Flemish region with 10,393 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2012). Situated at the Albert Canal and was formed in 1977 from the former municipalities Oostham and Kwaadmechelen. For Kwaadmechelen district includes the towns Genebos and Genendijk.
Location
Hasselt located 22 kilometers south-east, 43 km north-northeast of Eindhoven, Maastricht and Brussels 45 km south-east about 60 kilometers south-west.

Attractions
In Oostham the Onze Lieve Vrouw Church Geboortekerk is the oldest church tower of Belgium, whose oldest parts date from the 10th century.
