Bocholt ( Limburg: Bógget ) is a rural municipality in the province of Limburg, Flemish region in Belgium. It has 12,729 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2012). At Bocholt since 1977 includes the former community Kaulille.

Another village is Reppel where the Saint Willibrord is said to have built a church in the 7th century. The church was still standing by the end of the 18th century the monastery of Echternach.

Business & Traffic

Known in Germany Bocholt is the brewery Martens, among other things, produces the Aldi beer Karlskrone.

The municipal area is the confluence of the Kempen channel is in the South Willemsvaart.
