Joseph Fred Naumann

Joseph Fred Naumann ( born June 4, 1949 in St. Louis, USA) is Archbishop of Kansas City.

Life

Joseph Fred Naumann received on 24 May 1975 the Archbishop of Saint Louis, Cardinal John Carberry, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On July 9, 1997, Pope John Paul II appointed Titular Bishop of Caput Cilla and auxiliary bishop in Saint Louis. The Archbishop of Saint Louis, Justin Francis Rigali, donated him on 3 September of the same year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Auxiliary Bishop of Saint Louis, Edward Kenneth Braxton, and the Bishop of Lafayette, Edward Joseph O'Donnell. On 7 January 2004, he was named John Paul II Koadjutorerzbischof of Kansas City. The inauguration took place on 19 March of the same year. Joseph Fred Naumann was on 15 January 2005 as the successor of James Patrick Keleher, who resigned for health reasons, Archbishop of Kansas City.

Naumann is a member of the Equestrian Order of the Holy grave in Jerusalem, whose Grand Officer since 2008 and Grand Prior of the U.S. Lieutenancy Northern Lieutenancy of the Equestrian Order since 1996.
