Joseph Hueber

Joseph Hueber (* 1715 or the 1717 probably in Vienna, † September 26, 1787 in Graz ) was an Austrian Baroque architect.

Life

Father Sebastian came from Tyrol and came to Vienna, where he worked as a bricklayer and had direct relations with Johann Lucas von Hildebrandt and Joseph Emanuel probably to Fischer von Erlach. When Father Josef Hueber began his training and went from 1730 to four years of wandering. Afterwards, he was active in Vienna as a polishing in the fortress. In 1739 he appealed to the imperial " Fortifikationsbaumeister " Joseph Krauss an exam [ master's examination ].

In the same year he joined Joseph Carlone in Graz in service, married after his death in 1740 his widow, so that also took over the " profession " and was inducted into the Masons' Guild on March 27, 1740.
