Josephine Tomic

Josephine Tomic ( born June 9, 1989 in Perth ) is an Australian racing driver who has been active in road and rail.

Josephine Tomic, an Australian of Croatian origin, began with the power cycling at the age of 14 years. A year later, she represented her country at the Ozeanienspielen 2004. By 2008, she won numerous victories and podium places in their age categories. So it was in 2007 three times junior world champion in the individual pursuit and points race on the track and in the individual time trial on the road.

2008 Josephine Tomic dual Australian champion, in the one - and the team pursuit and had his first start at the World Cup. In the same year she won the road race Tour de Perth.

2009 Josephine Tomic was in Pruszków World Champion in the Omnium, a multi- fight - discipline, which was first held at this World Cup for the women. In the Team Pursuit, she landed with the Australian team in third place.

In February 2011, Tomic was three times Australian Champion in the One, the team pursuit and points race.
