Ju Kyu-chang

Ju Kyu -chang ( born November 25, 1928 in Hamgyŏng - namdo ) is a North Korean politician of the Workers' Party of Korea ( WPK ), and Colonel-General of the Korean People's Army, among other things, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee (CC ) of the WPK, member of the National Verteidigungskommisson, head of the Central Committee Department of Mechanical Engineering industry and a member of the Central Military Commission of the Central Committee is.

Life

Ju Kyu -chang graduated in engineering and began in the 1960s his career at the Department of Mechanical Engineering industries. He also held a function in the former Central Committee Department for armaments and munitions industry and was elected to the Fifth Congress of the Party as a candidate of the Central Committee. Along with Jon Pyong -ho, he contributed to the strengthening of party control over the defense industry, which lasted from the late 1960s to the early 1970s and led to the formation of the Second Economic Committee. In 1974 he became Vice - Chairman of the Second Economic Committee and was in the 1970s successively director, vice president and eventually president of the Academy of National Defence Science, research, development and training in the defense industry of North Korea coordinated.
