Juan José Haedo ( born January 26, 1981 in Chascomus, Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine racing driver. He is 1.78 meters tall, his racing weight amounts to 72 kg. Haedo belongs to the type of driver and sprinter in this area is one of the most successful professionals in the world. In his career he has won, among other stages at the Vuelta a España, Tirreno- Adriatico, the Tour of California and a few one-day races.

Juan José Haedo began his career in 2003 at the U.S. team Colavita -Sutter Home Oil. In his second year, he finished second on a stage of the Tour de Georgia. The following season he won his first stages with smaller American races, like the Tour de Toona or at the Redlands Classic. 2006 drove Haedo for the Continental team Toyota - United Pro. Here he was able to celebrate his first major success. In the Tour of California, he won two stages and was in the points classification just beaten to second behind Olaf Pollack. At the Tour de Georgia, he was successful on the last stage and closed the points standings to third place from.

2007 moved Haedo in the ProTour for Team CSC and celebrated the victory at Rund um Köln his first major victory in a classic and his first win on European soil. In May 2007, he followed at Colliers Classic in Denmark another victory. In 2011 he had a stage win in the Tour of Spain. In the Danish team, which Saxo Bank - Tinkoff now called Bank, Haedo is one of the most successful professionals and is supported in numerous races of some teammates to eject more top rankings.

His 2012 season started Haedo and his brother Lucas Sebastián in his native Argentina at the Tour de San Luis in late January. The goal of a stage victory but he did not achieve: on the first leg, he was beaten by a few millimeters from the Italian Francesco Chicchi ( Omega Pharma- Quick Step), and also in the bunch sprint at the end of the sixth day he had to settle for second place behind Elia Viviani ( Liquigas -Cannondale ) content. From 1998 to 2000 he was also active on the web. He was several times Argentine champion in the junior and senior level and won a total of four gold and one bronze medal at the Pan American Games.

Juan José Haedo is the brother and teammate Lucas Sebastián Haedo of cycling professionals.
