The Juanda International Airport ( Bandara Internasional Juanda Indonesian, IATA: SBY, ICAO: WARR ) is the airport of the Indonesian city of millions Surabaya, the capital of the province of East Java.

Location

The airport is located near the town of Sidoarjo, 20 kilometers south of Surabaya, in East Java.

Airport facilities

North of the runway, there is a new passenger terminal, including a new taxiway and An-/Abrollwegen, cargo terminal and apron. The new terminal building consists of two two-storey buildings with an upstream pier with 11 gates, including passenger boarding bridges. On the apron can initially 15 aircraft parking. The new facilities that become operational since September 2006, the airport is one of the most modern in Indonesia.

Airside infrastructure

The airport is 3 km long and 60 meters wide runway and runway in east-west direction and to the parallel taxiway at full length. There are five on - taxiway to the runway. Transport

There are bus connections to Purabaya terminal bus station in Surabaya.

Taxis all taxi companies are allowed to drive to the airport passengers from Surabaya. Trips from the airport to the city, however, may perform only taxis of " Primkopal Juanda taxis " company. You go to a uniform price to destinations all over Surabaya.
