Juanicó is a village in Uruguay.

Geography

It is located in the west of the department of Canelones in its sector 1 Juanicó will lie between the five-kilometer northern Departamento Capital Canelones and the south adjacent Barrio Remanso. A few kilometers to the west we find the city Cerrillos, about seven kilometers east of Villa Arejo is located. To the east rises the brook Juanicós del Tajamar, which flows around six kilometers north as left-sided inflow in the Arroyo Chico Canelón.

Juanicó has the Liceo de Juanicó founded in 2004 on a secondary school ( Liceo ).

Traffic

Through the city leads, as well as the railway Montevideo - 25 de Agosto, the Route 5 in North-South direction.

Population

The population of Juanicó is 1,305. (As of 2011)
