Jukebox-Musical

A jukebox musical (English Jukebox = Jukebox ) is a film or stage musical without the original score or score.

Either in these musicals a potpourri of already published songs is embedded in an action, eg say all: I love you and Singin 'in the Rain, or to those songs around is a story constructed that the with the song lyrics or possibly with biographies of composers or performers related, such as Mamma Mia! and Piaf je t'aime. Sometimes doing the lyrics of the songs are adapted more or less strong. An example of this is the song " Radio Ga Ga " from We Will Rock You.

Also musicals that large portions of an original scores using, but by further hits (often the same composer or performer ) enriched or provided with a new book, are sometimes referred to as a jukebox musical, for example, My One and Only.
