Júlio Botelho

Júlio Botelho ( Botelho also Julinho, or only Julinho; born July 29, 1929 in São Paulo, † January 10, 2003 ) was a Brazilian footballer, who took on the position of a winger.

Julinho joined the 1955/56 season for AC Fiorentina. Here he played a total of 3 seasons long before he moved back to his native Brazil to Palmeiras. During his time in Florence, he was considered one of the best wing runner of his time. He formed here with Miguel Ángel Montuori one of the best duos at that time, these two players were instrumental in the first league title of AC Fiorentina.
