June Foulds

June Florence Foulds, after marriage, Paul, ( born June 13, 1934) is a former British athlete and Olympian.

She celebrated her first major success at the European Championships in Brussels in 1950, when she became European Champion in the 4x100 - meter relay, along with Eileen Hay, Jean Desforges and Dorothy Hall. She also won the bronze medal in the 100 -meter run.

In the XV. Summer Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952, she won the bronze medal in the 4x100 - meter relay, together with teammates Sylvia Cheeseman, Jean Desforges and Heather Armitage, behind the teams from the U.S. and Germany.

In the XVI. Olympic Summer Games 1956 in Melbourne, Australia, she won the team silver medal, along with their teammates Anne Pashley, Jean Scrivens and Heather Armitage, behind the team from Australia (Gold ), and ahead of the team from the USA ( bronze).
