Based in the Swiss community Niederbuchsiten Jura Elektroapparate AG develops and distributes since 1931, household and electrical appliances. The company was founded by the mechanic Leo Henzirohs -Studer ( 1902-1984 ).

The independent production was abandoned in the 1990s and awarded to foreign companies. It was named after the Jura seat of the first plant at the foot of the Jura mountain range.
