Jürgen Nöldner

Jürgen Nöldner (* February 22, 1941 in Berlin ), called " peak", was midfielder and 1960-1969 30x GDR national football team. He shot during his international career total of 16 goals, including the fastest DDR international goal of all time ( 1 minute in the World Cup qualifier against Austria on 31 October 1965).

Life and career

When he was three years old, his father, the resistance fighters Erwin Nöldner was (according to the Berlin -Lichtenberg Nöldnerplatz and Nöldnerstraße are named ), was executed by the Nazis.

Jürgen Nöldners career began in Sparta Lichtenberg and BEWAG / turbine Berlin. In 1957, he was with the youth team of the ASK Vorwärts Berlin champion and cup winner of the GDR. In 1959 he achieved with "forward" even at junior level the Double .. He was then transferred to the Oberliga collective.
