Jussi Hautamäki
Jussi Heikki Hautamäki ( born April 20, 1979 in Oulu) is a former Finnish ski jumper and an active musician. His younger brother is Matti Hautamäki, also a former ski jumper.
Sporty
Jussi Hautamäki starts for the club Puijon Hiihtoseura ( Kuopio ). He began 1984 with the ski jumping and debuted in 1995 in the Ski Jumping World Cup jumping in Oberhof, reached in 1996 in Engelberg his first World Cup points. In 1997 he won at the Junior World Championships in Canmore, Canada silver in singles and with the team.
In his career succeeded the Finns to win two Continental Cup. His first victory he celebrated in January 2003 in Bischofshofen, then it took until December 2006 until he was at the top of the podium in Rovaniemi. In the World Cup he stood on the podium five times, each time with the team. His biggest success in a team competition he had when he was part of the winning Finnish team in Willingen 2001. In single- dated his best finish in the World Cup third place, from the January 2001 Sapporo. General was the 2000/2001 season his best, he joined them on the 15th place in the World Cup, although it myocarditis had forced the summer of 2000 in a longer break from training.
Hautamäkis best result in the overall standings of the Continental Cup is a 20th place, which dates from the 1995/1996 season.
In winter 2009/2010 Hautamäki only have participated in national competitions and has worked alongside the sport already as a carpenter. Today he looks at ski jumping only as a hobby.

Hautamäki played with his colleagues Ville Kantee (vocals, guitar) and Samppa Lajunen (guitar), Antti Kuisma (vocals, guitar), Kimmo Korhola (keyboard) and Olli Happonen (drums ) in a band called " Vieraileva Tähti " and the style of U2 resembled. They brought two CDs out: VT kevein Suomen mies / Raunioissa and VT Sinivalkoiset taistelee / Tunnen Tuulen ihollani. Jussi Hautamäki was played by electric bass. Private
Jussi is the oldest of three brothers. His younger brother is also a ski jumper Matti, the youngest brother, Hannu, but goes no wintersports.
