Ka -Ching! ( [ kə tʃɪŋ ] ) is a song by Canadian singer Shania Twain, which in November 2002 on her album Up! appeared. Was written the title next to the interpreter itself by Robert Lange.

The song won a Golden Disc in Austria and Germany.

Content

The song is about greed. The singer describes, among other things, that we live in a small greedy world ("We live in a greedy little world " ) and it's just about going to earn as much money ("To earn as much as They can Possibly. ").

Background information

The song was released on 17 February 2003 in Germany as a single. This is after I'm Gonna Getcha Good! and Up! about the third single from their album Up!. The song is 3:20 minutes long.

Music Video

The music video for the single was shot in January 2003, directed by Antti Jokinen in Mexico City and in the Spanish capital of Madrid.

Reception

The song received positive and negative reviews from music critics. S. Renee Dechert of popmatters.com describes the title with the words: " manifests itself as different from the other " ( stands out as different against the others ). Was Jennifer Nine of Yahoo! Music, Ka -Ching! was " musically Timbaland style ... " ( musically, its Timbaland -style strings and off- kilter chorus are the best thing on the album, and lyrically ... well, crikey ).
