KadÅ‚ub Turawski

Kadlub Turawskie (Polish: Kadlúb Turawski ) is a town in Upper Silesia. Kadlub Turawskie located in the municipality Turawskie in Opolski powiat (district of Opole ) in the Polish Opole Voivodeship.

Kadlub Turawskie located 10 kilometers east of the municipal center Turawskie and 22 kilometers northeast of the county town of Opole voivodship and ( Opole ).

Neighboring towns of Kadlub Turawskie are in the north Ellguth Turawskie ( Ligota Turawska ), to the east Sacrau Turawskie ( Zakrzów Turawski ), in the south Biestrzynnik ( Ringenwalde ) and Dylaki ( Dylaki ) and in the southwest Friedrichsfelde ( Rzędów ).

History

The town was first mentioned in 1295. In 1865 the town had 17 farms and 7 gardeners and 53 smallholdings.

In the plebiscite in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921 171 voters voted to remain in Germany and 292 for Poland. Kadlub - Turawskie remained with the German Reich. 1933 lived 796 inhabitants in the village. On August 10, 1936, the place in spruce / Upper Silesia has been renamed. 1939, the place had 754 inhabitants. By 1945, the place was in the district of Opole.

In 1945 the previously German place under Polish administration and renamed Kadlúb Turawski and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950, the city came to Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the place to re-founded powiat Opolski. On 8 March 2012, the City also received the official German place names Kadlub Turawskie.
