Kafr el-Sheikh Governorate

Kafr al- Sheikh (Arabic محافظة كفر الشيخ Muhafazat Kafr ash- Sheikh, Muhafazat Kafr DMG aš - Sayḩ ) is a governorate in Egypt with 2,629,491 inhabitants and is located in the northern Nile Delta.

It is bordered to the north by the Mediterranean, on the east by the province ad Daqahliyya, to the south by the Government al - Gharbiyya and to the west by the province al - Buhaira. The administrative center is Kafr al- Sheikh.
