Kamosowo

Kamosowo ( German Kamissow ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It is part of the rural municipality ( gmina wiejska ) Białogard ( Belgard ) in the powiat Białogardzki.

Geographical location

Kamosowo is located seven kilometers south-west of Białogard and is on a side road link to Slawoborze ( Stolzenberg ) - Świdwin ( Schivelbein ) to reach. Through the village leads the small railway Białogard - Slawoborze. The field mark is limited by the Parsęta ( Persante ) and the Topiel ( Nonnenbach ).

History

Documentary evidence is the Guts and farming village Kamissow since 1493 The Manor -. , As well as the neighboring estate Natztow - was until 1773 part of the feudal family of Wopersnow. Then it came into the possession of the von Kleist, under whose management it came to big bloom.

The rural community Kamissow was formed in 1928 from the former Gutsbezirk and the village community. In 1939 lived in the community comprehensive 771.5 hectares 246 people in 60 households. In addition to the estate there were five major and 25 smaller farms. Self-employed craft were not available. In the Gutsbrennerei large quantities of potatoes were processed into alcohol. The last of the previously existing brickworks was closed in the 18th century.

The competent registry office was in Standemin. The police tasks completed the country Jägermeister in Vorwerk.

On March 3, 1945, Soviet troops invaded the village. Several buildings were destroyed, expelled the inhabitants. Today Kamissow belongs to the municipality as a Polish village Kamosowo Białogard.

Church

Kamissow was until 1945 the parish in the parish of St. Mary's Church and was thus in Belgard Belgard church. This belonged to the church of the Evangelical Church of Pomerania Old Prussian Union.
