Kangaroo Iceland is an island off the southern Australian coast from the Gulf Saint Vincent, and is about 110 km from the city of Adelaide. On the island there are 19 districts and towns: American Beach, American River, Antechamber Bay, Brownlow, Cygnet River, Emu Bay, Flinders Chase, Harriet, Iceland Beach, Karatta, Kingscote, MacGillivray, Nepean Bay, Parndana, Penneshaw, Sapphiretown, Stokes Bay, Vivonne Bay and Wisanger. The administrative headquarters of the council is located in Kingscote on the northeast coast of the island.

Management

The Council of Kangaroo Iceland has ten members, nine Councillor and the Chairman and Mayor ( Mayor ) of the Council are elected by the residents of the LGA. Kangaroo Iceland is not divided into districts.
