Karin Neugebauer

Karin Neugebauer ( born December 5, 1955 in Leipzig ) is a German former swimmer who competed for East Germany.

At 14, she was her first and only international title win, as they could win over the 800 meters freestyle at the European Swimming Championships in 1970. Due to the death of her father, Prof. Dr. Hans Peter Neugebauer, she could not confirm them later and ended her career in 1972 with therefore only 16 years as a swimmer. She has worked as a teacher today.
