Kašnice

Kašnice ( German Kaschnitzdorf ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located one mile east of Klobouky u Brna and belongs to Okres Břeclav.

Geography

The road is located in the village Kašnice Dambořická Highlands, a southwestern foothills of Steinitzer forest ( Ždánický ). Kašnice extends on a ridge between the valleys of the streams and creek Kloboučky Kašnice. To the north rises the Ostry (317 m), to the east the Novorovinská hora (266 m ) south of the Harasky (278 m) and in the northwest the Rovinky (265 m).

Neighboring towns are Velké Hostěrádky and Bohumilice in the north, Násedlovice in the northeast, and Kumstát Nenkovice in the east, Krumvíř and Terezín in the southeast, and Brumovice Morkůvky in the south, Boleradice the southwest, Klobouky u Brna in the west and Borkovany and Časkovec in the northwest.

History

After the dissolution of the monastery monastic Obrowitz Good Klobouky in 1784 the kk State Farms Chief Directorate for Moravia assumed. On June 30, 1785 Imperial Hofkommissar Anton Valentin founded Freiherr von Kaschnitz to vineyard on a part of the Gutsfluren at Kaiser road from Brno to Göding in Ausspannwirtschaft Zastávka a Familiantensiedlung, which was named after him as Kaschnitz. The 36 settler families were all the Helvetic Confession and came from the villages Veliny, Rychlov and Bystřiny in the reign of Pardubice, Široký Dul and Třítěže in the reign Litomyšl, Křivice and Vostašovice in the reign Opočno and from Borová in the reign Polička in Chrudim district in Bohemia. After the abolition of patrimonial Kašnice / Kaschnitzdorf formed in 1850 a district of the city Klobouky in the District Commission Auspitz. 1867 Kašnice broke loose from Klobouky and formed its own community. In 1908 the railway line Cejc - Ždánice was built south of the village was the railhead Klobouky. Between 1928 and 1929, in Kašnice the construction of a public water supply. At the end of the Second World War, the Red Army on April 17, 1945 took the place. The damages being caused by the Soviet tanks were a million crowns.
