Kasumi Ishikawa

Kasumi Ishikawa (Japanese石川 佳 纯, Kasumi Ishikawa, * February 23, 1993 in Yamaguchi, Yamaguchi Prefecture) is a Japanese table tennis player. She took part in the Olympic Games in 2012.

Achievements

Since 2006, Kasumi Ishikawa has performed internationally in appearance. In World Junior Championships, she reached with the team in 2006, 2008 and 2011, the final, in 2010, she won gold. In 2010 she was also in singles and doubles with Misaki Morizono second.

Since 2007, she was nominated for all World Championships - up to 2012 six times. She won the 2008 and 2010 bronze with the Japanese women's team. In the ITTF Pro Tour Grand Finals in 2011, she was second in doubles with Ai Fukuhara. In 2012 she qualified for the first time about their world ranking for participation in the Olympic Games, where she was fourth in singles. In the team competition, she won along with Ai Fukuhara and Sayaka Hirano silver.

In January 2011 ( the 2010 tournament ) was Kasumi Ishikawa Japan champion in singles.

Kasumi Ishikawa's younger sister rira also starts at World Junior tournaments.
