Katerina Maleeva

Katerina Maleewa ( born May 7, 1969 in Sofia) is a former Bulgarian tennis player. They celebrated on the WTA Tour tournament eleven victories in singles and two in doubles.

Career

Together with her two sisters, the older and the younger Magdalena Manuela, Katerina wore down in the history of women's tennis. They made sure that the first time three sisters appeared on the seedings of a Grand Slam tournament and 1993 together also reached the second round at the French Open.

Katerina himself stood in all Grand Slam tournaments at least once in the quarterfinals. In 1990, she reached in three of the four most important tournaments of the last eight.

1988 and 1992 she took part for their country in the Olympic Games and to date most individual victories are in the Fed Cup for Bulgaria to book.
