Kathie Lee Gifford

Kathie Lee Gifford, actually Kathryn Lee Epstein ( born August 16, 1953 in Paris, France) is an American television presenter, singer and author. She hosted 1988-2000 on the side of Regis Philbin, the morning show Live with Regis and Kathie Lee in 2008 and has one of the presenters of the Today program on NBC.

Life

Kathie Lee Gifford was born Kathryn Lee Epstein in Paris in 1953. Her father was an American soldier stationed there. Gifford grew up in Maryland and attended by 1971 high school in Bowie. She then studied at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She married Paul Johnson and got a job as a singer in the TV show Name That Tune. In 1983 she separated from Johnson. From 1985, she worked with Regis Philbin together in a regional morning television; In 1986, she married Frank Gifford. Two years later their mission with Philbin was syndicated as Live with Regis and Kathie Lee.
