Kaule (Bagmati)

Fabric roll is a mountain ( a Village Development Committee ) in the Nepalese Midhills, located about 25 km north-west of the Nepalese capital Kathmandu on the edge of the Kathmandu Valley. Nearby, to the east of the village, is the Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park.

Geography

Fabric roll is situated on a mountain pass in the Nepalese Midhills, in 1860 meters altitude, in the Nuwakot District, which is located in the Bagmati Zone zentralnepalesischen management.

Population

According to a census in 2001, the Nepal Census 2001, were living in 2976 people in 605 individual households in beam. The inhabitants are mainly Tamang. In the past there has been some development aid projects in fabric roll, which should allow the families in the area to switch from the usual subsistence agriculture to agroforestry. From the interested families of the town, however, only one family has been established in agroforestry. This achieved, according to the German development aid association Kaule eV higher incomes than other families in the village. Since 2007, batching roller operates eV agroforestry project, participate in the fifteen farmers from the site.
