Kavan Smith

Kavan Smith ( born May 6, 1970 in Edmonton, Alberta) is a Canadian actor.

Life

Smith went to the Mount Royal College in Calgary, where he discovered his passion for acting. Before he first appeared in film and television, the 1.75 m tall actor has starred in numerous theater plays. An international TV audience he was known from 2005 through the recurring role of Major Evan Lorne in the popular science fiction series Stargate Atlantis. Other supporting roles he played in 2006, among others in the series Smallville, Battlestar Galactica or 4400 - The returnees. His debut in the American cinema, he graduated in 2000 with the Part of Nicholas Willis in Brian De Palma's Mission to Mars, where, among others, Gary Sinise, Don Cheadle, Tim Robbins and Connie Nielsen were his co-stars.
