Keith Coogan

Keith Coogan ( born January 13, 1970 in Palm Springs, California) is an American actor and former child actor.

Life

Coogan grew up as the grandson of Jackie Coogan and began his career early on with appearances in television commercials. He made his television debut in 1978 when he starred in three television movies. Subsequently, he received guest roles in television series such as CHiPs, Fantasy Iceland and The Love Boat. In 1979 he played the son of Clu Gulager in the series The MacKenzies of Paradise Cove, but this was discontinued after the first six episodes. Between 1979 and 1980 he appeared in a recurring guest role as Jeffrey Burton in The Waltons. It was followed by other television appearances, including in an episode of Knight Rider, for which he was awarded the Young Artist Award, and a voice in the Disney animated film Fox and the Hound. His feature film debut was Coogan who was occurred until 1986 under his birth name, in 1987 in the directorial debut of Chris Columbus, the comedy Adventures in Babysitting. In the following years, he starred in several other films like Sidewalks, Boy Soldiers and Fast Food Family. His film career, however, came to a halt, and he played in later years in B-movies and direct-to - video productions.
