Ken Matsudaira

Ken Matsudaira (松 平 健, Matsudaira Ken, often simply abbreviated Matsuken, born November 28, 1953) is a popular Japanese actor from Toyohashi in Aichi Prefecture in Japan. His real name is Sueshichi Suzuki (铃木 末 七, Suzuki Sueshichi ).

Matsudaira was primarily known for his roles in Jidai - geki films in which he played often historical persons. His acting debut, he celebrated in the 70s in the Zatoichi television series. From 1978 to 2003, he starred in the series Abarenbo Shogun Tokugawa Yoshimune as the main role. Furthermore, he was seen in 1979 in the NHK series Kusa Moeru as Hōjō Yoshitoki, 1999 Genroku Ryoran ( a series on the 47 Ronin ), 2002 in Toshiie to Matsu and 2004 in Ōtomo Sorin - Kokoro no Okoku where Motomete.
