Ken Scott

Ken Scott ( born April 20, 1947 in London ) is a British sound engineer and music producer.

Life and achievements

At age 16, Scott began in sound archives of the Abbey Road Studios to work. There he was a sound engineer and worked, among others The Beatles, Jeff Beck, Pink Floyd, Procol Harum and The Hollies. Procol Harum A Salty Dog album was mixed by Ken Scott at Abbey Road Studios in the spring of 1969.

He then moved to Trident Studios, where he worked for Elton John, George Harrison, Harry Nilsson, the Mahavishnu Orchestra and America.

Later, he produced albums for David Bowie, Supertramp, The Tubes, Dixie Dregs, Devo, Missing Persons, Kansas, Level 42 and more recently, Duran Duran and George Harrison.
