Kenneth Anthony Angell

Kenneth Anthony Angell ( born August 3, 1930 in Providence ) is retired bishop of Burlington.

Life

Kenneth Anthony Angell received on May 26, 1956, ordained priest for the Diocese of Providence.

Pope Paul VI. appointed him auxiliary bishop on August 9, 1974 in Providence, and Titular Bishop of Septimunicia. The Bishop of Providence, Louis Edward Gelineau, donated to him on 7 October of the same year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were John Francis Whealon, Archbishop of Hartford, and John Francis Hackett, Auxiliary Bishop of Hartford.
