Kenneth Steiner

Kenneth Donald Steiner ( born November 25, 1936 in David City ) is a retired Auxiliary Bishop of Portland in Oregon.

Life

Kenneth Donald Steiner received on 19 May 1962 the ordination to the priesthood.

Pope Paul VI. appointed him on 28 November 1977 Auxiliary Bishop of Portland in Oregon and Titular Bishop of Avensa. The Archbishop of Portland in Oregon, Cornelius Michael Power, donated him on 2 March of the next year, the episcopal ordination; Elden Francis Curtiss were co-consecrators, Bishop of Helena, and Alfredo José Isaac Cecilio Francesco Mendez -Gonzalez, CSC, Bishop Emeritus of Arecibo.

25 November 2011, Pope Benedict XVI. the Kenneth Donald Steiner put forward reasons of age resignation to. On March 4, 2014 Peter Leslie Smith was appointed as his successor.
