Kenta Matsudaira

Kenta Matsudaira (Japanese松 平 健 太, Kenta Matsudaira, born April 11, 1991, Nanao, Ishikawa Prefecture) is a Japanese table tennis player.

He studied since 2010 Environmental Sciences at Waseda University.

Achievements

First international successes achieved Kenta Matsudaira at the Asian Youth Championships in 2005 and 2006 by winning the title in singles. In 2007 he won here in the team competition. In Cairo, he was 2006 World Junior Champion.

At the Asia Championships adult he took in 2007 and 2009 with the team silver. In 2007, he was first nominated for the World Cup. With the Japanese team, he was third in 2010.

In the Japanese Table Tennis Championship 2009, held in January 2010, he won the Mixed with Kasumi Ishikawa. In the following year he brought together with Kōki Niwa the title in the men's doubles, he could repeat the 2012 tournament in January 2013.

From 2008 to 2010 Kenta Matsudaira played in the German Bundesliga club when TTC Frickenhausen, to which he returned again in 2012 for one year.

Family

Kenta Matsudaira's two years older brother Kenji is also a Japanese table tennis national team.
