Kevin Akpoguma

Kevin Akpoguma (born 19 April 1995 Neustadt on the Wine Route ) is a German footballer who is since 1 July 2013 at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim under contract.

Career

Clubs

Akpoguma began playing football in Speyer ( Speyer 1921 SpVgg RW and SV SW 1934 Speyer ). About the FC Bavaria Wörth and FC 1908 Neureut he came in the summer of 2007 for Karlsruher SC.

From the 2010/11 season he played two years in the U-17 League ( 47 games, 9 goals). For the 2012/13 season he then belonged to the squad of the U- 19 of the KSC, that plays in the U-19 league, as well as the squad 's first team in the third league. On November 10, 2012, he stood as a central defender in the starting lineup at the 3rd league home game against SV Darmstadt 98 ( 2-0). On January 26, 2013 Round 23 he scored in the away match in Osnabrueck his first goal - and was thus at the age of 17 years and 282 days, became the youngest scorer in the history of this league.

For the 2013/14 season Akpoguma moved to the 1st Bundesliga for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, where he signed a contract with a term until 30 June 2017.

National

Kevin Akpoguma was five times used in the German U-16 national team. He also played for the German U- 17 team, with whom he participated in the U-17 European Championship in Slovenia in summer 2012.
