Kevin Martin (American musician)

Kevin Martin ( born April 9, 1969 in Elgin, Illinois) is an American singer and musician. He became known as a singer, guitarist and main songwriter of the rock band Candlebox.

Martin founded in 1991 along with Scott Mercado, Peter Klett and Bardi Martin, the band Candlebox. The group released until their separation in 1999 three studio albums.

Kevin Martin then went on solo paths and, together with Colin Duchin his own band Kevin Martin & the Hiwatts that so far the only album The Possibility of Being published in 2002. After seven years of separation gave Kevin Martin and the other founding members in 2006, the reunification of Candlebox known. In 2008, the album Into the Sun was released.

In 2009, Martin teamed up with former members of the band live, to found the side project The Gracious Few.
