Khan Shatyr Entertainment Center

Khan Shatyr (Russian Хан шатыр; literally Royal tent) is a giant transparent tent in the Kazakh capital Astana. Was opened the building on July 6, 2010. History

The organization of the opening ceremony cost more than ten million U.S. dollars.

Description

The construction of the building was four years. The cost was officially 290 million U.S. dollars. The project was financed by a Turkish and Russian investor. As a major entertainment attraction located in the center of the center, a 38 meter high drop tower. In addition to the whitewater course in the third floor there is a station for the monorail, where you can make a tour of the whole center. It is about 400 meters long.

At parking facilities are approximately 400 parking spaces in a garage and another 1,500 parking spaces in the outdoor area. Khan Shatyr is currently on the outskirts in the new part of Astana.
