Kile, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship

Kile ( German: Kiehlen to 1938, 1938 to 1945 quill ) is a scoring for community Kalinowo village in the northeastern Mazury in Polish Warmia - Masuria, Elk County.

Geography

The village is located 6.5 km northeast of the town Kalinowo ( German: Kalli Owen ) on the eastern border of the neighboring province of Podlaskie, one kilometer south of Turowo at a secondary after Ginie road.

History

Kiehlen found at the beginning of the 16th century by outgoing of Elk settlement was first mentioned.

With the Prussian government reform by May 27, 1874 Kiehlen belonged administratively as a rural community to the District Wiersbowen ( 1892-1932: Wierzbowen ) in the district of Lyck, which included, in addition Kiehlen the communities United Czymochen, Millewen, Sanien, Soczien, Thurowen and Wiersbowen and Gutsbezirk Czymochen. Great Czymochen and Gutsbezirk Czymochen come 1909 District Oletzko. From 1938 is by renaming the parish of the same name Wiersbowen District to District Forest Werder.

On December 1, 1910 104 inhabitants were registered in Kiehlen.

After the end of World War II in 1945 to the German Empire ( East Prussia ) belonging keels fell to Poland. The place keels was renamed according to the Polish transmission in Kile.

From 1975 to 1998 Kile belonged to former Suwałki Voivodeship, then came 1999 on the newly formed Warmia and Mazury.
