Kingsborough is located in the southeast of the island, is in the north part of the territory of the capital Hobart. The area includes 35 districts and towns: Adventure Bay, Aliens Rivulet, Alonnah, Baretta, Barnes Bay, Blackmans Bay, Browns River, North Bruny South Bruny, Coningham, Dennes Point, Electrona, flowerpot, Gordon, Great Bay, Howden, Kaoota, Kettering, Killora, Kingston, Kingston Beach Leslie Vale Longley, Lunawanna, Margate, Middleton, Neika, Oyster Cove, Sandfly, Sharps Corner Simpsons Bay Snug, Lower Snug, Tinderbox and Woodbridge. The headquarters of the Council is located in the town of Kingston in the north of the LGA, where about 8500 inhabitants.
Management
The Kingborough Council has twelve members. The Mayor ( Mayor ), his deputy ( deputies) and Councillor ten are elected directly by the residents of the LGA. Kingsborough is not divided into districts.
