Kingfisher Airlines was an Indian airline based in Bangalore and based on the local Bengaluru International Airport. She was owned by the Indian company United Breweries Group Multi. She shared the name and logo some elements with the beer brand Kingfisher of the parent company. On 20 October 2012, the license of the airline of the Indian aviation authority has been withdrawn.

History

The airline, which was founded in 2004 by Vijay Mallya, chairman of United Brewery Group, and commenced flight operations on 9 May 2005, flew in their heyday at 65 national and seven international destinations.
