The community association Kirn -Land is an administrative unit in the form of a local authority in the district of Bad Kreuznach in Rhineland- Palatinate. The municipality has 20 independent local churches. The administrative headquarters are in the town of Kirn, although not itself a member of the community association.

History

In contrast to the individual local communities, the history of the municipality Kirn country is still very young. The community association in its present form has been around since 1968, when in Rhineland- Palatinate, the so-called " territorial and functional reform " was performed. She had the goal of creating equivalent living conditions in urban and rural areas through improved infrastructural facilities of rural areas. Their historical origin, the community association in the French administrative organization, which was introduced after the occupation of the left bank area by French revolutionary troops from 1798.

Coat of arms

The coat of arms is in three parts and shows in the right long side in black and a silver, gold-crowned, armored and gezungten lions. In the left long side in gold, a red, blue and reinforced gezungter lion and in the lower panel, a blue check. The whole plate is because it originally is an official coat of arms, red -gold surrounded by a gestückten border.

The graphic designer Karl Heinz chest, Kirn- Sulzbach, in August of 1963 presented a design for the coat of arms of the Office Kirn -Land. After approval of the State Archives, the Ministry of the Interior in Mainz issued on 11 December 1963, the authorization to run their own coat of arms.
