Kjeld Nuis

Kjeld Nui ( born November 10, 1989 in Leiden) is a Dutch speed skater. He started at the age of seven years with the speed skating.

Nui has won at the 2011 World Cup in Inzell over the 1000 meters distance the silver medal. A year later he managed at the 2012 World Championships in Heerenveen again about his favorite distance to the podium, finishing in second place.

Nui wins speed skating World Cup 2012/13, the overall rating for the 1000m distance.

At the World Cup 2013 in Sochi Nui is involved during the 1500 meter race in a collision with Jonathan Kuck. After a false start Nui was when he collided on the way back to the start with the running on the inside lane Kuck frontal. Nui started yet and ended up at the end on the tenth.
