Kjell Inge Røkke

Kjell Inge Røkke ( born October 25, 1958 in Molde, Norway) is a Norwegian businessman and entrepreneur, who was regarded in 2006 as the third richest man in Norway. He is, among other things, the Group Aker Kværner.

Røkke began his professional career with 18 years as a fisherman on boats his hometown of Molde. He has claims to have no professional training, he had merely " the University of the gutter" visits, as he himself has run once. He worked in the years that followed several years on trawlers off Alaska, which he laid the foundation for his first fortune. In the early 1990s he returned to Norway and began buying up and restructuring various businesses.

Røkke is known for his luxurious lifestyle. His real estate holdings include using the "hut" for 150 million NOK in Oppdal also a newly built " mansion " in Kong lungs. He is also owner of the luxury yacht Reverie, one of the largest yachts in the world with a private helicopter, and yacht Celina Bella, a private Boeing 737, a Lamborghini Diablo, a number of Land Rover, Audi S8 and Mercedes- Benz CL 600

Røkke and his partner Bjørn Rune Gjelsten were in 2002 on the transfer of the football club Wimbledon FC involved from London to Milton Keynes and changed the name of the club in Milton Keynes Dons, which meant that the fans of Wimbledon FC AFC Wimbledon founded. Røkke is also a sponsor of Molde FK and built the Aker Stadium.

July 1, 2005 Kjell Inge Røkke was convicted of corruption to 30 days imprisonment. He began his sentence in the prison yard in Vestfold in the fall of 2007. After 25 days he was released from prison.
