Klaus Kathan

Nikolaus 'Klaus' Kathan ( born January 7, 1977 in Bad Tolz ) is a German professional ice hockey player who plays for EHC München Red Bull from the German Ice Hockey League since 2011. He is the son of hockey legend and national coach of the German women's ice hockey team Peter Kathan senior. His brother Peter is also hockey players.

Career

Klaus Kathan got hockey on settled in his hometown EC Bad Tölz. There, the Centre was in the 1994/95 season for the first time in the seniors team squad, with whom he played from then on the 1st League South. Kathans biggest ever sporting experience was the participation at the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City and Torino 2006.
