Klein Vrystaat

Small Vrystaat (Dutch: Small Free State ) was a short-lived Boer republic in the present-day Republic of South Africa.

Year 1876 a group of Boers lived on land that they had bought the Swazihäuptling Umbandino. 1886 a formal government was formed shortly after they gave themselves a constitution. The state existed until 1891, when he was incorporated into the South African Republic. The capital was Piet Retief.
